Iran has been violating the NPT for decades, so withdrawing from it formally would just be for show. The only message withdrawal would convey is, "Yeah, about that uranium enrichment 'for peaceful purposes,' you guys didn't actually believe that did you!?"
Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, said that US and Israeli actions had created grounds for Iran to withdraw from the NPT.
